Sleep matters, each Night
A good night's sleep is of tremendous importance for literally everything. Fortunately, sleep does not need to be complicated, and a few tools can help you out. The buttons will lead as always to my list, the links to the chosen products.
Everybody knows that sleep is important. Nonetheless, many folks still struggle with it and myths surround this mystical topic. The first step to betterment is education and getting rid of the myths. Sleep is a habitual process and determined by your habits. Beyond habits, some supplements can help. Despite sleep itself, it is important to also avoid plastic in your bed - you otherwise spent a whooping third of your day covered in plastics. An easy fix for that are pure cotton bedding and covers filled just with downs.
We lose our Roots
Below I share my concerns regarding melatonin use with you as well as the supplement stack I use when I have a hard time falling asleep. Beyond that you'll find pure cotton, plastic free bed accessories I use:
The Sleepstack - Apigenin (50mg)*, Magnesium Biglycinate (200mg)*, L-Theanine (100-200mg)*
Melatonin* - I am not a big fan as it elevated the levels for beyond baseline and influences testosterone for the worse in mice. Yet, after a jetlag it can save your ass as a targeted intervention.
Pillow* & Duvet* - just filled with downs and a casing of pure cotton
Set of Pillow Case, Bed Sheet & Fitted Sheet* - pure cotton in white color
Blue Blocker Glasses* - for the odd late night laptop work session pre-deadline
My Experience
I always loved to sleep. Yet while growing up few thing about sleep as necessary, it is more something one must partake in. This attitude changed with me training lots and reading through Matthew Walker's terrific book Why we Sleep*.
Sleep lies at the root of everything. Literally. While overstressing is neither the solution, a healthy relation to sleep is very important. No bad night will harm you, yet what you experience 90% of the time matters truly.
