Think about Pollutants & Water
Water nowadays became a big problem - pollutants are present everywhere and mess up our metabolisms. Fortunately, there are a few useful tools available. The buttons lead you to my Amazon list, the links to the respective products.
Water never was a problem, until the advent of widespread agriculture, mining, fertilizer use and big industry. Pollution is a real issue nowadays, so far that certain fish are outright toxic, various xenoestrogens mess up your sex hormones and medications are present in tap water. On top of that come heavy metals , bacteria, and of course issues with old pipes. Sounds bad, right? Because it is. I do not want to fearmonger, just bring an often overlooked health concern to mind that fortunately can easily be fixed using a few water filtering tools.
The biggest changes, using filters for your tap water and shower water. Moreover, avoid drinking tap water and buy quality mineral waters, best found in glass bottles. My favourites here are Gerolsteiner, Steinsieker & Nürburg especially regarding their unique mineral content and little contamination. If you drink tap water make sure it is filtered - some use a reverse osmosis system that purifies your water, just make sure to remineralize it in that case.
Get rid of Pollutants
The following tools all tackle the issue from a different angle and are cost-efficient once bought:
Faucet Water Filter* - filters most heavy metals from your tap water, still medications & xenoestrogens could remain
Shower Water Filter* - removes heavy metals from your shower water
Brita Water Pitcher - removes xenoestrogens & medications more effectively, use after running water through the faucet filter
Reverse Osmosis System* + Trace Mineral Drops* - removes close to everything from your water, but also the minerals, therefore the drops to remineralize it
Portable Brita Steel Flask* - Filter your water on the go, if at the gym, work, or airport while avoiding a plastic bottle
My Experience
I stumbled upon water quality and tap water just a year ago when I listened by accident to Dr. Anthony Jay talking about the matter of water and plastics. Briefly after I read his book 'Estrogeneration*' and dove into that matter to understand the severe influences on our health - almost incognito.
And I must say it makes a difference, my skin feels better, mineral water tastes a lot better, and nobody loves being low-T.
