What's From Zero about?
'From Zero' is the starting point for everyone into the realm of Calisthenics and bodyweight sports. It starts like the name suggests - From Zero! It is the professional I wished I had when I started back in the days. That's why it's also completely free and comes all the knowledge the newsletter offers.
No background in strength training needed. Albeit even for people with a background From Zero teaches them the mindset behind Calisthenics as well as the fundamental exercises.
Therefore there are no prerequisites, only be:
motivated to start Calisthenics
not acutely or severely chronic injured
willing to commit to the 3 months the program goes - undecisiveness kills progress
What will you learn?
Throughout 'From Zero' we will start to learn all the important bodyweight staples and build strength, as well as awareness with those. So what are the cornerstone exercises?
Pushups & Dips
Chinups, Pullups & Rows
Leg Raises, Hollow Body & Arch Hold
Squat & Deadlift
But that's not all! 'From Zero' also comes with a mobility part to reclaim the squat, explains many training mechanisms, and explains to you the role of equipment.
Working out is a Lifestyle
...and the Newsletter is there to bring like-minded individuals in the same place. To connect and learn together.
Working out isn't so much about 'being the best one around,' rather being the best you and improving from there. A big part of improvement mostly consist of 'doing', especially when starting out. The farther you get, the more knowledge and strategy comes into play!
And that's exactly what you're getting - knowledge about Calisthenics, Flexibility, as well as Ancestral Health, plus the odd experience I tell out of my life, or a survey where you can tell me where things are heading. Plus, I'm always open for input, questions, critique or whatever comes to your mind and the newsletter is a direct way to get in touch!
Coach Spotlight
I would neither subscribe if I had no clue whichever keyboard-warrior is writing these lines.
I happen to run this blog for 2 years now, but started out in the medical sector, before getting licensed as a personal trainer. In my free time, I crave hikes, adventures, and books. Definitely the nerdy type.
