Basic Mobility helps you with what the name suggests – reclaiming the baseline of flexibility every human being should possess for the challenges of his daily life.
Over the course of 3 months, we’re diving deep into positions like the squat, better shoulder flexibility, and getting your hands to the floor. Plus, you can integrate this program within your normal strength work – I would even encourage that! While a dedicated flexibility practice that enables you to perform the things your daily life demands, is very beneficial, building strength in a variety of functional positions is also. Throughout Basic Mobility, you will go through direct flexibility work and learn about the exercises, what it means to be flexible, and how to integrate them into your training.

Flexibility is something that paradoxical – either it is easy or foreign to get into at first. There are people who are hypermobile and generally participate a lot on their own accord in movement practices, and those for whom flexibility might not come naturally. The daily lives of most of us do not demand a great variety of positions to successfully fulfill each day anew. That is where dedicated flexibility training helps – to get you into a broader range of positions regularly, build a baseline of movement a human being should express, while strengthening those that you already own. Likewise, strength training solid programming can help every adult progress forwards from his starting point to:
- move with ease,
- Get rid of stiffness and restrictions,
- unlocking the squat, a straddle, and the ability to touch the floor!
If you struggle with the above, lack certain positions, or your daily life does not provide enough stimuli to your body, then this program is just right for you – because that’s exactly what we’re trying to address over the course of this program. Throughout my practice as a personal trainer with clients, and personal experience I came across many programs and ways to get flexible, some better, others worse. Basic Mobility provides you with the tools you need to get into flexibility and achieve a baseline of movement positions that every human should be able to accomplish.
